Short Term Holiday Agistment

We know that one of the hardest parts of organising a holiday is working out what to do with your horse. You might be going away for just a weekend or a longer trip of a few months.

However long your holiday, being able to relax knowing your horse is being cared for gives you the peace of mind to relax and enjoy your trip!

What we provide:

While on holiday with us, your horse is provided with a securely fenced paddock, access to fresh automatic water and unlimited grass hay.

Depending on your requirements, horses are fed up to twice daily and rugs are changed as appropriate.

If your horse has any specific care, medications, or exercise requirements these can generally be accommodated with prior arrangement.

  • We prefer to supply our own hay. This is grown on the property (with the exception of lucerne) and assists us with managing weeds that can be imported onto the site via hay.

  • Yes, but you are also welcome to supply your own.

    If we are supplying hard feed for your horse this can either be our standard ration (Prydes EasiResult or BioMare) or we are able to coordinate delivery of your preferred feed at cost.

    All supplements are to be owner supplied unless otherwise arranged.

  • Depending on our availability, horses can be kept in work for you while you are away. Any work requirements are discussed with you beforehand so that we can ensure that your horse is being appropriately worked for their current fitness and level of training.

  • We understand that plans can change however we are often at capacity so please let us know as soon as possible if your horse needs to stay for longer than planned so that we can make appropriate arrangements.
